During my time in the thoroughbred industry, I have developed my sense of horsemanship, veterinary knowledge and ridden ability. I am confident in my decision making as a farm manager and have a keen attention to detail, with a particular interest in rehabilitation of injuries and improving condition and wellbeing.

I am also comfortable communicating directly with people, with experience speaking in public and presenting to a large and professional audience. Strengths
I have a creative and open-minded approach to problem solving, informed by a range of different perspectives. Drawing on my education, I try to look at the 'bigger picture' and the ethics of consequences. However, this balances well with my practical understanding of the industry. As a result, I value my analytical abilities stand as a strength, allowing me to make informed decisions.
I consider myself a very honest person and place a considerable emphasis on accountability. I stand by my decisions and acknowledge mistakes openly, with a willingness to learn and rectify issues.
My leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team have also proven useful. I can take up a position of authority and responsibility, but also feel that I can be guided by others with greater experience. I possess a great sense of empathy, allowing me to connect well with other people and build a sense of trust in teams.
